Position Summary:
As a Lawn Care Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing fertilization, weed control, pest control, and other lawn treatment services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and values customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply applications according to company standards and state regulations

• Diagnose turf issues such as disease, insect, and soil problems

• Operate lawn care equipment including spreaders, sprayers, and small machinery

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

• Maintain accurate service records and daily route logs

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of equipment

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to work independently in a physically demanding outdoor environment

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Willingness to obtain necessary pesticide applicator licenses (training provided)

• Previous lawn care, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Apply plant health care treatments including fertilization, pest management, and disease control for trees, shrubs, and turf.

• Diagnose plant health issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Safely handle and apply pesticides and fertilizers in compliance with state regulations.

• Operate and maintain spray equipment, trucks, and tools.

• Communicate with clients and team members regarding services performed and recommendations.

• Accurately document applications, chemical usage, and site notes.

Qualifications (Must Have):

• MA Pesticide Applicator’s License (current and active).

• Current and valid driver’s license.

• Knowledge of turf, tree, and shrub care best practices.

• Strong attention to detail and safety.

• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Details:

• Seasonal role: Spring through late Fall (weather dependent).

• Full-time hours available during the season.

What You’ll Be Doing (Besides Looking Awesome in Green)

• Applying treatments that make lawns go from “meh” to “WOW.”
  
• Educating customers on their lawn’s needs (yes, you’ll be their grass guru).
•  Answering occasional customer questions (like why their neighbor’s lawn isn’t as cool).
  
•  Lifting up to 50 lbs. (gym memberships are overrated anyway).

What We’re Looking For

•  A valid driver’s license (because we trust you with our trucks).
•  Someone who actually shows up—on time, ready to work.
•  Strong communicator (because "I dunno" isn't a great customer response).
•  Ability to handle New England weather like a pro (yes, even that one surprise April snowstorm).
•  Lawn care or customer service experience? Great! Pesticide License? Even better! No experience? No worries—we’ll train you!
